G20 Surveillance in the Streets: The Silencing of Dissent

The panel will discuss what forms of surveillance were used during the G20, how these operated on the ground and what the consequences of these surveillance mechanisms are on a range of actors, including activists, marginalized populations, the media and scholars.

A social event following the panel presentation will take place upstairs at the Grad Club (162 Barrie Street) from 2 - 4 pm.
