The successful applicant will work on two research projects funded by the European Commission under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7-Sec): The PRISMS project, The PRIvacy and Security MirrorS: “Towards a European framework for integrated decision making”, and The ERC funded DigIDeas project “Social and Ethical Aspects of Digital Identities. Towards an Value Sensitive Identity Management”
The successful candidate will:
Qualifications:
A completed or nearly completed PhD in a relevant field (e.g. science and technology studies, IT and ethics, constructivist technology assessment, engineering ethics)
Research and publishing experience in all or some the following areas:

The Infonomics and New Media Research Centre is a small interdisciplinary research unit at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, Maastricht/Heerlen, currently employing 10 people. Its research is focused on social and ethical aspects of digitisation, digital identities, security, and value sensitive design. With our current project portfolio we operate in national, European (FP7), and international networks of knowledge institutions and stakeholder organisations.
